STAFF

The Whitebrook Equestrian Center is owned and run by head trainer Summer Swift.  From a young age Summer became interested in horses.  When Summer was in high school she bought her first Warmblood, WEC Tamarac.  Ever since Summer has been interested in breeding and training Warmblood Sport horses for showjumping, equitation, dressage, cross-country, and hunter under saddle. Summer graduated from College with a degree in Animal Science and started the Whitebrook Equestrian Center shortly after she graduated in 2004. Summer is well versed in every discipline and also acts as barn manager as well as trainer and owner.  Summer has an eye for great warmbloods, and she hopes her breeding program here at the WEC will become world renowned!

Spicer Grey is joined the Whitebrook team as an assistant trainer shortly after his sister, Tessa.  He was nervous around horses at first and was not a very good rider, but in a matter of two years he has mastered the riding skill and has become a bold and fierce competitor.  He is just beginning to show in the jumping arena but is doing well so far.  He has learned how to train young horses under the apprentice of head Trainer Summer Swift. Spicer moved into the Whitebrook Equestrian Center to become a full time assistant trainer and is a competitor to look out for on the show jumping circuit.

Tessa Grey is an assistant trainer here at the Whitebrook Equestrian Center. Tessa started riding when she was only six years old at a local hunter barn.  Tessa quickly scaled the ranks and became one of the top Equitation riders in no time.  By the age of eighteen she had already won numerous jumping championships and decided it was time to begin work at a top ranked Hanoverian breeding and showing barn.  Tessa Grey began as an apprentice but due to her knowledge and skill with horses was quickly promoted to assistant trainer.  She moved into the residence of the Whitebrook Equestrian Center with her mare, WEC All That Glitters.  Her brother soon joined the ranks of showing and training right along with her.

Sophie Hall is a new up and coming rider who started an apprenticeship here at the WEC. She joined the Whitebrook Competition team as a fairly unexperienced rider but has come a long way since her days of junior riding! Sophie will be leasing WEC/CDC Onatello exclusively for showing but you may see her around the competition trying her at at varying disciplines with other horses as well.  This rider is one to look out for as she is determined and focused.  Sophie has soft hands and a gentle nature making her the perfect rider for some of our hotter headed stallions.
